Our first new time zone

Just woke up in our room at the Holiday Inn Express, two miles outside of Los Angeles International Airport. Had a pretty restful night, after all that pampering on our flight from Boston (more about that later). We'll soon be heading down for our complimentary breakfast -- fingers crossed for eggs Benedict and freshly squeezed OJ. Hope Holiday Inn doesn't let me down!
